……learned weird shit about my neighborhood's automotive demographics
1) GM is the most popular brand, 1980-1995 being the best represented years
2) Most common car being the Monte Carlo SS, the 80's aeronose models being most popular.
3.) only vehicle that outnumbered montes was Ford Super Duty, with heavy bias on the early 2000's models
4.) Vans, not mini kind, but like boogie van kind have a healthy population, one house having 2(!) custom vans, including an A Team replica!
5.) trucks outnumber cars 6-1
6.) If you were going just based on cars, you'd think my neighborhood would have a high "klan" presence, and you're right! In fact, the first black family in my neighborhood moved in a week ago across the street (equinox SS for the wife, first gen ML for the hubby.)
(I live in NJ, not Alabama btw)

Multiple Monte SS aero coupes in one neighborhood? There's a statistical anomaly..

Sounds about like my area of upsate NY with very little income so everything is poorly financed Dodge Avengers, PT Cruisers, and rusty Silverados. We also have a man with custom vans, though they're covered in "Fat chicks allowed" and "Bones are for dogs" stickers. At least in small poor towns it's easy to become to Go-To car guy by just giving a shit what you drive and how you drive it.

Eh, its a small cul de sac and most of the people living here have been here since I was born. You figure this stuff out after a little while.

not the aero coupe, there's only one of those, but it's a pro stock car. (There's a racetrack really close, like 6 houses have race cars)
